Our Connect programming serves as outreach to share Yoga in Action’s work with the broader community. Through community education and events as well as classes open to the public, we work to improve access to yoga and increase human connections.
Meditation Monday @9:30AM w/ Ann Biese,
Start your week by finding your center through meditation, breath work and some mindful movement. Meditation is a tool that can be used to help discover and foster present moment awareness while encouraging us to observe the wandering mind. No previous meditation experience is needed, just discover all the benefits of finding inner balance and peace through a regular practice.
Community Class Tuesdays at 6:30pm w/ Michelle James, Yoga In Action offers a FREE Community Class to foster connection and promote resilience. This trauma informed yoga class offers plenty of variations and lots of choice in a safe and supportive VIRTUAL environment. Discover your inner strength, build confidence and learn coping skills to stay calm and be present when you need it most. This mat based practice is adaptable to all levels of experience.
Yoga in the Park: Free Classes every Tuesday in Prescott Park Portsmouth, NH throughout June, July & August.
Yoga Mala: Our annual Community fundraiser draws over 200 yogis from all over NH, Maine and Mass to celebrate yoga service and community.
Karma Classes: Donation based classes to benefit Yoga in Action hosted by area teachers and studios.
Bombas Giving Partner: Yoga in Action helps to distribute Bombas socks to organizations and individuals serving the homeless population.
