Nh Gives 2017 : Yoga in Action

Dear SATYA Supporters, Program Teachers, Scholarship Recipients,

In June SATYA will be participating in the NH Gives Day Fundraising Campaign. NH Gives Day is a powerful, statewide 24-hour online fundraising event that is designed to build community, connect donors to local nonprofits and generate excitement about the nonprofit sector. Beginning at 6PM EST on June 6 and continuing until 6pm EST on June 7, Granite Staters will go online to show their support for the nonprofits that make NH so extraordinary.

We need your help to make this day a success. As you may know, SATYA relies completely on donations and community support to offer the 20+ free, weekly yoga classes to specialized populations. SATYA fundraisers also support Yoga Teacher Scholarships. We recognize that many of you recently helped SATYA raise nearly $40,000 in February at the Yoga Mala, we truly appreciate your support and understand if this is too soon to participate.

If you were unable to participate in the Yoga Mala, or would like to participate again, we would love to have you join our NH Gives Fundraising team by setting up a NH Gives Fundraising page. You can set your fundraising goal and determine the amount of time you would like to put in to this. We ask that you promote on Facebook a little prior to the event and frequently during the 24 hours on June 6th and 7th. If you’d like you can also share through email, twitter and other social media. The strategy we are planning is many fundraisers creates more funding, no matter what the donation amounts are!
