Just Breathe
Virtual 9:30am
Michelle Verdi
Build your resiliency toolbox for modern life while exploring the enhanced feeling of wellbeing that a regular breathing practice can provide. This class meets for 30 minutes online. We’ll arrive, slow down, and breathe. This class can be enjoyed from a cushion, a chair, a yoga mat, a desk in your office, or even outside. Come as you are- yoga clothing is not required to join this class. The tradition of pranayama, or moving and lengthening the breath, dates to the ancient yogis who understood the importance of breathing to support our energy. Modern science and medicine have shown that breathing practices can promote our health and sense of wellness by regulating and balancing the nervous system. We will build our practice together each week. All are welcome to this class. This class is safe and accessible for all.
