HOPE IN RESILIENCE: Community Healing beyond Adverse Childhood Experiences

Join us for an inspiring afternoon to build community and explore post traumatic growth in the face of ACEs On Sunday, October 2nd, 2022, from 1pm-4pm, Yoga in Action will feature the film, Resilience at 3S Artspace at 319 Vaughan Street, Portsmouth, NH. This is a hybrid event with options to participate in-person or via the livestream.

The film relates to Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the science and therapies being used to fight back against the effects of this type of childhood trauma. The event is a screening of Resilience, followed by a panel of experts from New Hampshire. After delving deeper into the impact of ACEs on children and families and community healing, the panel will address questions from the audience. Trauma informed yoga and mindfulness practices will be shared.
